Here we will show you two different procedures you can use to calculate the cube root of 7 divided by the cube root of 26. In other words, we will show you how to calculate ∛7 ÷ ∛26 two different ways.
Procedure 1
This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:
∛7 ≈ 1.9129
∛26 ≈ 2.9625
1.9129 ÷ 2.9625 ≈ 0.6457
∛7 ÷ ∛26 ≈ 0.6457
Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛7 ÷ ∛26 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
7 ÷ 26 ≈ 0.269231
∛0.269231 ≈ 0.6457
∛7 ÷ ∛26 ≈ 0.6457
