Procedure 1
This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:
∛5 ≈ 1.71
∛8 = 2
1.71 ÷ 2 = 0.855
∛5 ÷ ∛8 = 0.855
Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛5 ÷ ∛8 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
5 ÷ 8 = 0.625
∛0.625 = 0.855
∛5 ÷ ∛8 = 0.855
