This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:
∛9 ≈ 2.0801
∛8 = 2
2.0801 ÷ 2 ≈ 1.0401
∛9 ÷ ∛8 ≈ 1.0401
Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛9 ÷ ∛8 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
9 ÷ 8 = 1.125
∛1.125 ≈ 1.0401
∛9 ÷ ∛8 ≈ 1.0401
