Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛9 ÷ ∛72 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
9 ÷ 72 = 0.125
∛0.125 = 0.5
∛9 ÷ ∛72 = 0.5
