Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛9 ÷ ∛40 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
9 ÷ 40 = 0.225
∛0.225 ≈ 0.6082
∛9 ÷ ∛40 ≈ 0.6082
