Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛9 ÷ ∛31 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
9 ÷ 31 ≈ 0.290323
∛0.290323 ≈ 0.6622
∛9 ÷ ∛31 ≈ 0.6622
