This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛9 ÷ ∛17 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
9 ÷ 17 ≈ 0.529412
∛0.529412 ≈ 0.8090
∛9 ÷ ∛17 ≈ 0.8090
