Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛8 ÷ ∛9 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
8 ÷ 9 ≈ 0.888889
∛0.888889 ≈ 0.9615
∛8 ÷ ∛9 ≈ 0.9615
