This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:

Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛8 ÷ ∛7 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
8 ÷ 7 ≈ 1.142857
∛1.142857 ≈ 1.0455
∛8 ÷ ∛7 ≈ 1.0455
