This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:

Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛8 ÷ ∛5 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
8 ÷ 5 = 1.6
∛1.6 ≈ 1.1696
∛8 ÷ ∛5 ≈ 1.1696
