Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛8 ÷ ∛24 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
8 ÷ 24 ≈ 0.333333
∛0.333333 ≈ 0.6934
∛8 ÷ ∛24 ≈ 0.6934
