Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛7 ÷ ∛31 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
7 ÷ 31 ≈ 0.225806
∛0.225806 ≈ 0.6089
∛7 ÷ ∛31 ≈ 0.6089
