This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:

Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛6 ÷ ∛48 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
6 ÷ 48 = 0.125
∛0.125 = 0.5
∛6 ÷ ∛48 = 0.5
