Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛5 ÷ ∛36 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
5 ÷ 36 ≈ 0.138889
∛0.138889 ≈ 0.5179
∛5 ÷ ∛36 ≈ 0.5179
