This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛5 ÷ ∛17 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:

∛0.294118 ≈ 0.6650
∛5 ÷ ∛17 ≈ 0.6650
