This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:

Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛5 ÷ ∛12 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
5 ÷ 12 ≈ 0.416667
∛0.416667 ≈ 0.7469
∛5 ÷ ∛12 ≈ 0.7469
