Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛3 ÷ ∛36 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
3 ÷ 36 ≈ 0.083333
∛0.083333 ≈ 0.4368
∛3 ÷ ∛36 ≈ 0.4368
