Here we will show you two different procedures you can use to calculate the cube root of 1 divided by the cube root of 20. In other words, we will show you how to calculate ∛1 ÷ ∛20 two different ways.
Procedure 1
This may be the most obvious procedure, where you first calculate the cube root of each number, and then divide the result, like this:
∛1 = 1
∛20 ≈ 2.7144
1 ÷ 2.7144 ≈ 0.3684
∛1 ÷ ∛20 ≈ 0.3684
Procedure 2
This procedure may be the fastest. Since ∛1 ÷ ∛20 is the same as ∛(34/56), you can first divide the numbers, and then find the cube root of the quotient, like this:
1 ÷ 20 = 0.05
∛0.05 ≈ 0.3684
∛1 ÷ ∛20 ≈ 0.3684
