Here we will show you how to calculate the cube root of 1 plus the cube root of 2. In other words, we will calculate ∛1 + ∛2.
It is tempting to simply add 1 and 2 together and then take the cube root of the sum. However, that will give you the wrong answer. Instead, you have to first take the cube root of each number and then add them together, like this:
∛1 = 1
∛2 ≈ 1.2599
1 + 1.2599 = 2.2599
∛1 + ∛2 ≈ 2.2599
